Creating a Short Story on a "Theme"

Goal:

• to create a short story

Objective:

• to express or represent a feeling or value in a short story

Activities:

• Participants write the theme on paper, and  the facilitator of the group discusses the process of writing a short story to assist participants to  create their own  chart or graph on the "theme" 

•  Each individual can  create a short story and  take a digital photograph of their work and upload their work to HumanityQuest.Com to be posted on website and share with the online group interested in that value.

• Each individual can evaluate and discuss works created in the group or displayed on the site with other participants.

Materials:

• Paper and writing utensils

Evaluation/Assessment:

• Each individual can evaluate the process of participating in the activity and offer suggestions in the feed back form.

• Write the "theme' with synonyms and antonyms on paper and  create a short story that relates to the same or opposite theme.
• After taking a digital photograph and upload the work to HumanityQuest.Com to be posted on the website and share with the online group interested in that value.
