Karima Benremouga

I am attaching a  picture that I intend to include in the article so that you have something to hang on to.  However, I did not draw it.  One of my students gave it to me as a gift last year.  I inspired her, so she drew my name, Karima Benremouga.

Interview Questions

=========================================

Edwin:  Do you recall the first time you felt inspired?

KarimaHere is what I experienced about 15 years ago... When I was in Algeria, one night during Ramadan (fasting month) I stayed up and prayed to God all night to help me out with a dilemma.  I had received an invitation letter to come to the US for an educational visit, but the letter was missing the date of the visit, which was a key information in obtaining permission to leave my country for the US. At that time, it was too late to ask them to mail another letter containing the needed information.  That night, I never felt closer to God.  At one moment, I felt the presence of angels around me.  It was a warm spring night, yet I felt cold and my body shivered.  I felt inspired to trust the almighty who was going to take care of me.  And He did.  That same morning, another letter from the U.S.A. was delivered to my door.  It was from the professor who had sent the first one, except it contained the date of the visit.  The professor wrote a note saying that she was sending a second letter in case the first letter did not contain enough information.  Since that day, my relationship with God strengthened and my quest for happiness continued acknowledging a strong presence of the Lord in all aspects of my life.
