At the center  of the word inspiration are the letters (spira). This reminds me of the Latin word Spiratu - Spirit. So at the center of inspiration is Spirit.  

What is spirit?

• intuition - trysting your gut
• getting still - listening for messages
  • in dreams
  • in visions
  • in words overheard or spoken directly
  • in the books that come my way
  • flyers about classes
• resting in I don't know

The spirit must also be fed by creativity generate inspiration - it is cyclical.
