Joan facilitated an activity where we had 20 minutes to express some idea about inspiration with collage, drawing, etc. We then showed the work and talked about it.

My personal connect with inspiration is based many times on movement. As I explored the magazines to find movement pictures - I found the exercise peeked my inspiration - looking at all the glorious movements in our rich lives!

The Japanese inscription reads, "Tower of Memory"
It is actually from the Manzanat, but I am using it in another context - being drawn to a positive memory.

I was interested in the "looking for inspiration" experience. I was looking through magazines seeing what caught my attention. So I started gathering eyes. Eyes that are looking for inspiration in the magazines. Then I found a photo of a guy that looking like he was passionately inspired. His eyes are closed and he is overcome with feelings. Looking for inspiration is not necessarily being inspired.  I like the contrast of the people looking the the fellow who is inspired.
