Creating the Video Taping Environment

Since a great deal of the work involved is setting up the shoot i.e., scheduling, location setup, etc... the more artists we can tape in a day, the more efficient it is.  We can start the tapping at 10 am and go until 6 pm. With 3 minutes maximum per artist talk and with a minute or so of setup between artists, that means we can video tape about 15-20 artists an hour.

Location needs,

• good parking since artists are bringing art work
• quiet (no background noise: music, traffic, etc.)
• good lighting (natural light is the best)
• chairs and space for an audience
• a small table to place artworks on.
• Artists bring one piece of work to show.
